ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Everyone is a photographer on some level. What separates me from anyone else? I believe it is my desire to create photographs that transport people. Photographs that remind them of where they have been or where they want to go. Images that remind people of the beauty that surrounds them on an everyday basis. I want people to see the images I create, some virtually in their own back yard, and to go back to these places and reacquaint themselves. The dunes in snow or the beach just after a spring squall, the ocean in the gloaming five minutes before sunrise or a salt marsh moments before a threatening storm. Being in likely places at unlikely times is what makes exceptional photography. Exceptional photographs are what I strive to create.

BIOGRAPHY Mike Sleeper began making photographs at the age of thirteen and after college, became a commercial photographer, eventually traveling worldwide for numerous corporate clients. After eight years as a commercial photographer he turned his attention to more personal work, concentrating primarily on landscapes and fine art portraiture. From Parisian street scenes to Cape Cod seascapes to shooting award winning landscapes within a mile of his home, his portfolio exhibits a diverse range of fine art photography.

My portrait sitting fee starts at $600.00 which includes a print package. Please call for a quote on a session that suits your needs.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRINTS AND PURCHASING

The standard sizing for panoramic prints is 32x10.5" image size. The overall finished size of artwork archivally matted and framed in black metal is approximately 40x19.5". Framed in cherry wood the dimensions are approximately 43x22.5". The square photos have a standard image size of 16x16" and are approximately 23x24" framed in black metal. Framed in cherry wood they measure approximately 25.5x26.5". The Fenway photographs have a standard image size of 11x14". Framed in cherry wood they measure approximately 16x20". All of the photographs can be printed to a custom size and enlarge to much bigger dimensions without any breakdown in resolution.
